About Michelle Murrell

Michelle brings her life-long love of dogs together with proven training techniques that both you and your dog will enjoy. She is a graduate of West Virginia Canine College, where she completed a 600 hour Professional Dog Training Certification Program under one of the world’s foremost authorities on dog behavior and training. Her sensitivity to your dog’s personality and temperament, coupled with effective training tools, will help you and your dog to live happily and obediently together.


West Virginia Canine College-

Certified Dog Trainer, 600 hour Professional Dog Training Certificate Program. Graduated top in the class with an ‘A’ average. Program highlights include: Puppy, Basic, and Advanced Obedience, Personal Protection, Police K-9, Schutzhund, Tracking, Mantrailing, AKC Confirmation and Obedience, Kennel Management, Breeding, Medical Training, and Temperament Testing.


· Studied theory and training techniques in all of the areas listed above

· Extensive field work and testing in each area

· Taught private and group obedience classes

· Trained canines for In-Kennel obedience programs

· Cared for dogs living in the kennel facilities

· Whelped, raised, and cared for puppies in the kennel facilities; and administered vaccines


· Animal Care Assistant at Animal Hospital of Kentwood- Kentwood, Michigan.

Cared for hospitalized animals, administered medications, cared for boarding animals, sanitized kennel and hospital area, and also entering information into hospital computers.

· Veterinary Technician at Animal Hospital of Lowell- Lowell, Michigan.

Administered medications, prepared surgery room for operations, assisted in all surgical operations, performed dental work on patients, sanitized all surgical equipment and rooms, answered phones and scheduled appointments, educated patients’ owners on post surgical care instructions, and performed various pre-surgical and post-surgical duties.
